Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay I now live in Las Vegas, NV.
I came to the United States 14 years ago (as of 2020), my son’s age, and since then I have lived across a good portion of this country — From Las Vegas to Utah, Florida, and Mississippi… in that order. In the midst of all that traveling, I also resided in China for 1 year.
Student, translator, editor, copywriter, digital media specialist, and educator. All these interconnected paths brought me back full circle to the beginning of my U.S. journey, Las Vegas, where I work as a bilingual English-Spanish Social Studies teacher at the high school level, mainly with our emergent bilingual students, and attend UNLV as a Ph. D. student in the Curriculum & Instruction program focusing on Cultural Studies, Multicultural Education, and International Education (a.k.a. CSIEME).
Did I mention I L.O.V.E. everything I do? Well, I most definitely do!
